1/27/2020 - We are rocking & rolling!

I am incredibly impressed with how far we've come since our Hybrid start in October 2020! If you could see the smiles, hear the laughter and see the learning that is happening, you'd be as impressed as me. Thank you to our community, school board and so much more for seeing the importance of in-person learning.

We have many things in the works so be on the lookout for information:
Math Pi Night (virtual)
Science Night (this will be "flipgrid" style)
Walk-A-Thon (COVID protocols will be followed)
Art Night (virtual)
Grade Level "Field Trips" (different than previously)
Talent Show (this will be "flipgrid" style)
Field Day

Wow! I can't believe what a wild ride it has been, but I am so excited that the Grant County Health District has approved for our existing students to be able to come into the building. Our staff are taking the necessary precautions to ensure everyone is social distancing, staying in their assigned groups, wearing masks and washing hands. It's wonderful hearing kids' voices again. We miss them all!

This is also the first step towards our hybrid model. We are currently developing that and are hopeful we will be adding more kids to our in-person learning soon. At some point in the near future we will be sending home a survey for you to complete to help us with our near future planning... so stay tuned.

I'd like to thank our families for their patience and support, as well as encouragement during these times. It's always difficult to plan for something so unexpected and we have amazing staff that are working around the clock to support ALL of our families. If you have any questions or concerns I encourage you to go to your child's classroom teacher and bridge the gap between home and school. We are a TEAM and must stay strong!

Just like our little Mia says, "We weawy wike dis schoow!" (Isn't she wonderful? Out of the mouths of babes comes wonderful wisdom.
e hope to see you in person soon!  -Principal Dahl-
